"Youth Voice believes that young people can pass on their knowledge of how to make the best of their lives to other young people, and that when they do this they learn useful skills, improve their self-esteem and increase their confidence."Core Advisory Team Minutes
The idea for Youth Voice Peer Power came from a group of young people who felt that most young people go to their friends and peers for support when they need to talk. Youth Voice also did a survey to ask young people what helped them when they had problems, what advice they would give to other young people and what is the best way share their ideas with other young people.
